Meet The TLK Pet Care Team!
Cheryl
Founder and President of TLK Prof. Pet Care
and Dog Walking Service
A Watertown native and with her partner
Katie, are the proud parents of Kobi
(TLK's dog mascot since 1999) and
their cats Goldie, Chance and Hope.
mascots in training.
Local Shelters and Rescue organizations TLK like to support are The Cat Connection, The Ellen Gifford Shelter, MSPCA, World Wildlife Federation, Peta, Charlie's Strays, and NEADS. Also close to Cheryl's heart are the American Diabetes's Foundation and the Alzheimer's Foundation.
"The most rewarding part of my job is being able to inform a pet owner of medical symptoms they maybe unaware of for their pet. Then because I strongly recommended a consult with their Veterinarian, this made all the difference in the world for that pet's positive prognosis with the early detection."
Katie
Vice President of TLK Pet Care
Prof Pet Care , Dog walker,
Supervisor of Dog Playgroups
Katie is a Watertown resident
and with Cheryl, are the proud parents of Kobi, Goldie, Chance and Hope. All 4 were adopted from local shelters.
Katie has been with TLK Pet care for 5 years and has been trained for pets with medical needs. Katie's instincts for animal behavior are impressive. Katie is a supporter of animal rights and Rescue Organizations. The Cat Connection, Guiding eyes for the Blind, Disabled American Veterans and ASPCA are some of her favorites. Even the outdoor critters have benefited from Katie's compassion and care. She will not hesitate to stop and help an escaped or injured animal find it's owner. Unfortunately more times than she can count.
Katie says "the part of the job she finds most rewarding is to help the animals in our care who are the ones who need medical attention. To comfort them and see them heal when the owner is away, is such a great feeling to make a difference in that pets life."
Jodi
Prof Pet Care , Dog walker and Supervisor of Dog playgroups
Jodi is a Watertown resident and with her family, are the proud parents to Patches the dog and Snuggie the cat.
Jodi has a wealth of experience in pet care and training dogs. She also has experience with medical needs for pets.
Her natural instincts with dog and cat behavior make her a valuable team member. Jodi has brought so much to TLK Pet Care since she joined the team. Any pet in her care will get the most responsible attention and love. Jodi always seems to stay one step ahead of the puppies in training who are about to get into mischief, all the while keeping their exercise safe and fun.
Jodi is passionate about animal rights and the Rescue Organizations dear to her heart are PawsForACure, Animal Farm Rescue League, MSPCA and Underdog Rescue.
TLK Pet Care believes like Jodi, that there are no bad dogs, just ones that didn't get a chance at a loving home and time for proper training.
Al
Prof Dog walker and Dog playgroup
Supervisor
Al has been a Belmont resident for
40 years and is the proud parent
of Pud, also pictured.
Al is a lifelong dog owner so
his experience with dogs is
only matched by his compassion
for animal rights.
Al called upon TLK's specialized care 5 years ago for his family dog Oliver who needed sub cutaneous fluids on a weekly basis. Soon after Al became a good friend who took a passionate interest in the work TLK provides for dog care.
Al has been involved for many years with Charley's Strays, Elephant
Sanctuary, Elephant Aid, PETA , ASPCA, Greyhound Rescue and the Mary Grow cat sanctuary.
And on a personal note most recently with the Parmenter Wayside Hospice. He also has been a member of the Civil War Round table of Massachusetts for more than 40 years.
TLK Pet Care is grateful to have Al's dedication and love for animals.
He is truly a valuable team member. Pud is also a TLK junior Supervisor

Some of you may have seen Julie in the Spring spring time volunteering at the Gore Estate's Sheep Sheering Festival as pictured.
Kelli
Prof. Pet Care and Dog Walker
Kelli, pictured with her sister Lucy as she
calls her, joined the TLK team of
dedicated staff a little more than a year
ago. Her positive approach and sense of
humor make her a great team member.
The animals in Kelli's care always get such loving attention that their owners report their pet always seem so happy when they return. Kelli is a big fan of petfinder.com. There are so many pets are out there that need a loving home and what a great organization to help families find that special pet to adopt.
Kelli finds that her favorite part of being a staff member of TLK is no matter how your day is going, one look at how happy that pet is that you've come to care for them, is priceless.
